Tufa has about 20 seconds on Ito, based on countback going around that corner.
Dropped, but holding it together.

Not available in US. Available in Canada. I'm guessing the NBC/Eurosport nations have bought the exclusivity.
Approaching 2ish miles to go.
Kiplagat has stayed tucked in, looks the best, but she has the best form to begin with. Kiprop doesn't look good, but also never looks good.
Sumgong holding steady on the front as the lope around another corner
2:14 five in lead group. Ovett says Kiprop looks a bit "ragged".
Kirwa (Bahrain/Kenya) looks good. She has 2:22 pb. Dibaba - tiny - is similar to Kebede. One head smaller than the others. I think either Dibaba or Kiplagat will win.
Ghost
Nothing is working for me except audio.
It must be the usual US network idiots who are blocking and messing it up.
Kiplagat getting dropped.
Kiplagat dropped going around the 180 turn
Not quite at 40k yet.
16:34 last 5k!
Kiplagat gone.
Kiprop has best of 2:24.
2:20 - Kiplagat getting dropped!
Ghost
Dibaba leading Sumgong, Kirwa and Kiprop
top 7 at 40k:
1 Mare Dibaba ETH 2:20:38
2 Jemima Jelagat Sumgong KEN 2:20:38 +0:00
3 Helah Kiprop KEN 2:20:39 +0:01
4 Eunice Jepkirui Kirwa BRN 2:20:39 +0:01
5 Edna Ngeringwony Kiplagat KEN 2:20:41 +0:03
6 Tigist Tufa ETH 2:21:27 +0:49
7 Mai Ito JPN 2:21:59 +1:21
Mile to go.
Do the women know the finish line situation? It may come down to a sprint.
With no markings on the road, look for a finish time around the low 2:26s to judge the distance-to-go.
1200ish to go. 4 together

It's hard to tell anything from the announcers without video.
Sumgong (2:20;48) is danger. Kiprop has ahuge ungainly stride. Female Masai hunter!
Dibaba waiting...
Please keep the play by plays coming.
Kiprop has done the least amount of work of the four. Kirwa was in the wind from 25-38k, Dibaba was in the wind after 40k, and sumgong lead everything else.
Getting close. 600m ish
