And they still are!!! You guys are irrational. The point that former runners make is that they were more talented than rupp and he achieved more, meaning drugs. It's an illogical urgument considering they aren't running anymore and the point of training is to get better. Plus most runners make the mistake of over training and worse never take a break. It's not unusual for runners to keep progressing when they keep the same coach and routine year after year.
