The Jihad comes from the Koran. Every act of Muslim violence that is religiously sanctioned, from terrorism to rape, is derived from the Koran.
We've already criminalized the Koran, by banning incitement to violence against non-Muslims.
I'm ashamed to see that there's minimal public sympathy for the dead men. Americans have been conditioned to expect Marines to suffer exhaustive casualties in war and from brutal, sadistic training regimens. Semper Fi.
The US Marines should lie in state at the Capitol in Washington, D.C. A procession down Pennsylvania Ave and a state funeral held. That's the least we can do for four of the most dedicated, fanatical, uncompromising, and selfless, ultimate war fighters.

The shooter attacked Marines and servicemen at a military fort. Also the shooter, a University of Tennessee graduate, has relatives in the West Bank, an area under armed conflict involving the United States. Thus, his actions are an act of an enemy soldier and not an act of terrorism against unarmed civilians.

You Yanks have admitted roughly 1.6 million individuals from Muslim countries since 9/11, twice the rate of immigration from that part of the world relative to the previous decade.
Take Minneapolis alone, they admitted over 100,000 Somali refugees from 1993-2013 and are now bringing in up to 10,000 more each year.
But it has been found that 99.7% of them have been Muslim - from an area of the world where the tiny Christian communities are being decimated.

I'm in the Army and have worked with a few Arab Muslims turned US soldiers. Most were interpreters who then joined the US Army to gain citizenship. The terrorists don't really like fellow Muslims helping us our so the 'terps didn't exactly have a safe job
It's very easy to turn religious text into a blueprint for war. Have you ever read the Old Testament? Men of all creeds have tried to use religion to justify killing others since time began.
What is meant as a guide to treat each other and the world with love and respect, a guide to try and find a higher meaning to life, has been misinterpreted and skewed to support death and conquest.
All of the religions of Abraham are more similar than they are different. What fanatical Muslim terrorists are doing today, Christian crusaders did a thousand years ago.

The USMC is not the military. The US Marines are nearly autonomous and by far the most independent and discrere organization of the U.S. Government. The US Marines are also nicknamed 'The 4th Branch the US Govt'.
