(It's pretty crazy that the best in Tennis, the best in Cycling, two of the best distance runners, one of the greatest football players of all time and the immortal Chuck Norris all fall on this list)
Other Celbrities with twins that show signs of roid rage:
Al Pacino
Robert DeNiro
Mel Gibson
Charlie Sheen
Chris Hemsworth
Brad Pitt
George Bush
Yes. Especially Pacino in 'Scarface' and DeNiro in Taxi Driver. All the evidence I need.

Here is one guess--you are an idiot.
I just realized this thread is from couple years ago and not sure how I missed it. I always knew women were put on extra hormones prior to receiving IVF. Does make you wonder the correlation of the male hormones playing a part. I think it's always good to inquire and have theories about a topic (no harm done) it could certainly and possibly help future studies like in the article you linked. Especially for couples who are desperately trying to have kids and spending ton of money for the procedures.
I wonder if there have been more studies done since then on this matter.
I thought the implication was that the men had low sperm counts due to all of the doping, so the couples tended to choose to do IVF (easily affordable if you're a wealthy professional athlete). If they implant two embryos...boom. Fraternal twins.

Chuck Norris didn't have twins. Mother Nature was scared Chuck wouldn't find his daughter perfect, so another one was produced - for parts.
To: Little Doper here, posted by joedirt on first page..
I guess the link above is an updated article. The original on the first page was an actual study done by MDs/PHDs.

For every good tennis player with twins, there are 30 without. For every good runner with twins, there are 30 without. Repeat this among every sport. You must be trolling, as no one is that stupid.

17 years ago, a book by Sally Jenkins and Lance Armstrong told of his cancer treatment and subsequent IVF, in which multiple embryos are implanted.
Not so hard to understand.
Michael Phelps
Dathan Ritzenhein
Alan Webb
El G
Michael Johnson
Michael Jordan
Eli Manning
Tom Brady
Chris Solinsky
just off the top of my head athletes, who are also parents, who do not have twins...
Coincidence???
The Olympic GOAT, Michael Phelps, did not have twins.

Hahaha, you said he had embryos implanted.
Lance had no embryos. He had semen frozen. Bruce J doesn't even have embryos.
And as an aside, turned out Lance was left with single ball, which seems to still function. Hence his screen nickname, Juan Pelota
Its seems it is hard for you to understand. Lance has gone through 4 + girl friends since then.
Tyler Hamilton had a twin.
Lots of twin these days with the ladies taking fertility drugs. Don't think it means anything. Also, people do have twins anyway.
Even if they are all dopers, not sure it makes twins.
This. Even this is just an educated guess, but any other theory would be farfetched to say the least.
What motivates you to act so stupid? I guess it's fun for you. At first you got me, but now I'm laughing.

So did my uncle Ronny. Coincidence??
They are (or were) sponsored by Nike? ;)
I know Armstrong was doping, and also Farah and Rupp took l-carnitine but it must be a coincidence because men don't get pregnant.
