I would if they had anything that worked better than what I have; my experience is that cheap $1 brown gloves work fine, and on very cold days wear socks over the gloves or wear mittens. It's just a lot more convenient to go down to the local Wal-Mart and do this when it gets cold than to go the the running store (which is 70 miles away) or wait until they come in the mail from Road Runner Sports.
Of course, many of us who've coached high school know the kid who, when you ask him/her how their winter running is going, tells you "I haven't been running because I haven't had time to buy any running gloves".
I totally agree. The cotton gloves or running socks work well. I can snot all over them and not worry bout it, cause they're old socks. I like the plastic baggie thing. I guess that would be good if it ever got real cold here (NJ), which it doesn't. I've run in -20F in Chicago with just 2 layers of running socks. Works great and like the other poster said, the socks can be used for a variety of purposes while on a run. I'm not gonna spend money for something to keep my hands warm when I already have something in my dresser drawer. I also have never worn any of the fancy shirts. I get shirts at road races. Then I wear them training. That's what I thought everyone did. Go to a race, get a shirt, wear it running. I guess I'm in the minority.
