Despite a poor start, Jenna Prandini wins the 100 in a wind-aided 10.96.
That is one speedy white girl.

Crowd went nuts when Jenna Prandini got the win in the 100. Not sure if you can hear them on the TV. By far the loudest it has been all week.

800 time!
Goule out hard straight into the lead already has a gap, 26 the first 200
Goulde out like a maniac! 56!
56 first lap big gap to the chase pack led by the oregon frosh
Larry Rawson just mentioned "Edward Cheserek kind of excitement" in regards to Goule going out hard in the 800.
Because Ches' thing is totally front running and pushing the pace from the gun
Raven Rogers closes the gap sanders in third Goules first lap killed her she just faded to 5th and is dying, true frosh Rogers with the win in 1:59!!!!!
Congrtulations to Raevyn Rogers on an heck of a run and the weirdest victory reaction I've ever seen
It's pretty obvious the Eugene 'medications' aren't just for the NOP.

Did you miss the 400?
I am actually loving this. The raw emotion and pure shock, like these ladies had no idea they were actually allowed to or capable of winning.
Watch out NCAA, Rhianwedd Price says her twin sister (who is coming to the NCAA) has always been a little bit better than her (until Rhianwedd came to Miss. State).
Tracktown USA or Upset City?
I just meant the arm flailing nonsense right after she crossed, though the surprise we got from the FSU girl in the 400 was pretty entertaining
I remember one time I watched the NCAA meet when I was in high school and I saw all these black girls freaking out like maniacs. Yea.
I never care too much for the sprints but that 200 was awesome

According to Larry Rawson, there are "a lot of Olympic events going on in Europe and the United States", which makes Jenna Prandini's #7 time in the world more impressive.
I understand what he's trying to say, but holy crap.
At least he was talking about track there. Not sure why I needed to hear about Carnegie Hall or Rembrandt during a track meet. And I wish he would tell me one more time how all these amazing "talents" got to Eugene. I've forgotten since the last distance race.
In for the women's 5k.
Where are you all watching the events?

Why does a Profession Distance Runner not demand the same respect as other Pro athletes?
