Perfect summation of why you shouldn't send your kids to most American public universities (unless they are getting a STEM degree). Indoctrination is a scary thing. This poor person has no clue what they are talking about, but they have expertly gained the ability to speak as if they do and what's worse is they genuinely believe they do. Global Marxism is firmly entrenched with the zero-sum philosophically degenerate professors who now make certain only to hire others of their ideological ilk and who dominate most of the non-STEM departments. Critical thinking and humanism are going fast out the window and the federalized nightmare which will likely result should be seriously frightening to those of you who aren't already completely plugged in. Heartbreaking to think of all the true values America has stood for and that standing upon that legacy we are now peddling this ideology of degeneracy and existentialism. What happened to the unspoken values of the True Christian Religion upon which we have hoisted ourselves us so far out of the mire of our human condition? People need to stand up to this crazy-town stuff or we will find ourselves rapidly degenerating culturally (even faster than we already are).[/quote]

Wow, you got me there!
But in all seriousness, if you disagree with me, why don't you actually engage with the terms of my argument rather than throw a bunch of knee jerk insults at me?
What I attempted to do in responding to the poster who was concerned about her/his friend's child is to give some brief data on how sex and gender are more complicated than they first seem, then to provide a rational explanation about why some may people feel like they're born into the wrong body.
Is my position that some people aren't born with XX or XY chromosomes Marxist? Is it ideological?
Is my observation that human gender presentation is sometimes the exact opposite of the presentation we observe in most other animals ideological? Marxist?
If you want to know my ideological stance, it is this: Nobody can claim to speak for God, and those that do--especially those who oppress others in the name of God--are really trying to defend and promote their own narrow interests, not protect society against degeneracy.
