With Geb's first WR - he ran the last 4k solo. Why couldn't Meb just go at it alone? The other two guys with him were hanging on and couldn't have matched a slight increase in pace.

Mo thinks that everyone wants to see him and only him. He thinks that everyone would give up their own personal goals to help him pursue his. In his mind, he is the best. There is no room for questioning his delusion.
Mo is angry that he couldn't find a 13:15 5k runner to be his personal wind breaking: not even for the 5-figures that his agent offered. In other words, Mo is incapable of running a fast time unless someone else does the hard work for him.
*wind breaker*

Mo Farah actually slowed the pace so he could have a chance to win it! And now he is blaming pacing? If I am not wrong, I think he is the first one who took to the front after the pacers step off the track. At first he seemed to pump up the pace but less than 200m later, he began to slow, causing Paul and Geoffrey to run onto his heels, slowing them down. Paul then took to the front and tried to maintain high pace but Mo would kick to the front, push a little then slow down again. He did that several times and by around the 19th lap, all three of them were tired from this irregular pacing. At around 22nd lap, Mo was running third behind Geoffrey with Paul leading, and Mo was trying to move to the front. Geoffrey noticing, decided to block lane two by running parallel with Paul. Mo was evidently tired and gave up until the last moment towards the last lap when he took over the lead. I don't know why Geoffrey blocked Mo from moving to the front but my guess is that he was tired of Mo slowing the pace every time. At least now we know his medicine and he will taste of it come August in Beijing.

It was because Mo's obvious attempt to mess with their pacing. Mo got back what he deserved. Mess with other people during a race, and expect to be messed with, and don't complain about taking some of your own medicine. It's that simple.
