When training for a marathon or any longer distance race, a lot of people either run in the morning, the afternoon or both. To me, it seems like running in the morning would be the most beneficial because you're running after having not eaten for 8 hours approximately. So you are running without as much fuel which seems like it may be more similar to the last half of a marathon and thus train you to run better in the latter half than someone who primarily runs in the afternoon. Thoughts?
