He played college football at Fordham University so he's obviously a great athlete. I enjoy watching his videos on YouTube very funny guy.
Ventolin, can we get a line of fit on this guy with perfect conditions (i.e. no burritos beforehand, perfect pacing)

Wait, I just watched the video more carefully. That track isn't even lined, we dont workout there. I have no idea what this is.
I'm thinner than you but the same height. Saw a video of myself running 6:00 pace and it looks laughably slow. Like my knees are barely going up, I have very little back kick and my stride looks short. But I'm going 10mph.
Just corroborating the idea that bigger guys can definitely move and still look slow.
this guy actually has not bad form if he took care of himself he would probably be not half bad.
I live in the next town over from Ridgewood and I can tell you that track is definetly not 400m. It's quite under actually.
Do you have an address? I'd like to check it out on google maps.
Nevermind, I found it. It's Ridgewood High School.
Appears to be less than 350m per lap.
I'm pretty sure that was the track they used in the 1993 Beijing Games.
They must have had it sent to New Jersey after the meet.
Regardless of how far and/or how many laps he ran, there's absolutely no way that this guy was running at a 6 minute mile pace. He's jogging at a 9-10 minute pace.
The LA Beast has a strong set of low hangers http://labeast.com/videos/ 36 eggs with the shell? Wonder how long he could live off bananas.
I ran for Ridgewood high school and the track is well short of 400meters. It's closer to 5 laps to the mile. They could not fit a full size track into the confines of the space available there.
it looked like 9 to 10 minute a mile pace.
the guy does not look athletic and he is a liar and deceiver. creating a lying, deceptive video to augment himself without earning it.
shame on him

Did you even watch the video? No one involved with it seemed to have a clue about what a 6:10 mile is, and they both seemed to need reminders that 4 laps is what they had to do. They weren't legit runners or anything... He wasn't trying to deceive anyone. He was just trying to accomplish the challenge, and he failed. It's not like the title of the video was "6:10 mile after 4 burritos."
I'm glad the length of the track has been verified. It all makes a lot more sense now.
He runs the first lap in 5:30 pace in this one and does a 8min beer mile and is even fatter here.

Just watched the video carefully. I counted 4 laps, and the 7:00 timer stopped with 0:50 remaining, therefore a 6:10 mile.
I agree with other posters though, doesn't look like he's running close to 6:10 pace.
then he probably cut the course off camera. I lost interest as soon as the cameraman cut away.
He also wasn't obese. Overweight maybe.

Somebody is mad that this guy is faster with 4 burritos than him...
344m track. 4 laps would be 1376m. 6:10 for 1376m is 7:12.7/mi or 7:10 for a 1600.
so he's still trucking along, but not at 6:10 pace.
?ow long until we see the video of Nick Symmonds attempting this?
