Weather forcast between 59 and 61 degrees. No WR was ever run in these conditions.
Bekele has a tendency to overheat in warm weather so I am calling a DNF.

It starts at 7 local, when the sun's only just rising. I walked to work this morning at 9.15 local and it was still cool.
If Bekele doesn't WR, it won't be because it's too hot.

While your anecdotal evidence is cute, the forecast is indeed that the temps will be 59 at the start and 63 at the finish.
I would not bet on a WR under any conditions, but that is definitely warm for a marathon WR attempt.

Other than Mombassa name one other time he has overheated.
I don't think many of us are predicting a WR. Anything in the 204s would be a nice performance for Kenny B.
Look up recent Dubai weather, I think it was 70+ F one year when they had a few 2:04's. 50's F should be fine

50s would be fine, but 59-63 is not what I consider 50s, moron.

Great, but it will be 50's F from 7-10 AM during the race.

You know nothing idiot.
Currently 54 degrees
and 82% humidity. ???

Irrelevant. The dew point at 54/84% will be well under 50.
For the empteenth time temperature at 7am is quite a bit different than the same temp at midday with the Sun directly overhead.
The weather will be just fine.

Talk is cheap. Coming up with excuses after a race is always easy. "Missed two weeks of training in December". Yeah, right? Why did he line up in Dubai then?
