I understand they are fun. But what sort of utility does one derive? Personal protection - can you show a study to back that up? Crime deterrence? Links?
I will believe anything, as long as it is backed up by unbiased raw data. And the unbiased raw data a large number of non-gun owners see is that guns cause harm.
What you fail to understand is that no one owes you an explanation for the possession of a firearm.
You can choose to own or carry or you can choose not to.
You don't have a say in the choice of how other American Citizens defend themselves, their families, or their property. And you never will.
