I would give each person on Earth an equal share.
So, $10 Billion / 7.125 Billion People = $1.40 per person

Ideally I'd buy the New England Patriots, but it's unlikely the Kraft family would sell. But could they say no to $5 billion?
Failing that, I'd buy Brighton & Hove Albion FC, pour money into the club and build them into a champion. That would only take a few billion.
I'd then hire a top-notch financial adviser and tell him that I want 1 billion to go in low-risk investments etc. so that if anything goes wrong my family could still live comfortably.
And I'd probably give about half of the 10 billion to charity. No one needs all of it.
Invest
Give some money to my family
Buy my friend a house
Give some money to various charities that I've supported in the past but not currently
Set up my own business
Buy an apartment in the city centre and another place to try out living in different areas
Get certain health treatments I can't afford at the moment
Go on holiday to the USA touring around and stopping everywhere I've wanted to see, with family and friends. Get surfing lessons, fly in a private jet just for the hell of it, go to the grand canyon and fly over it in a helicopter. Learn to ride a horse and go and live on a ranch for a bit. Rent a house in Malibu and invite all my friends over to spend time on the beach. Get a personal chef and cooking lessons because I'm rubbish at it. Go out to eat in some nice restaurants and go and see things I'd love to do but can't afford.
Nothing, I wouild have a nice lie in

Don't be a fool - get your 30 years in or you'll lose your pension!

I guess I am already a fool been at a small family owned business no pension, no retirement. Had wife and kids to take care of. I was scared to jump ship needed that weekly paycheck.
all kinds of charity - trying to help poor kids move up in the world.
but for fun -
I would try to create a profesh running team - why not? a $10 billion is a large number and it would be fun to try to build something solid and long lasting.
I’m a D2 female runner. Our coach explicitly told us not to visit LetsRun forums.
Great interview with Steve Cram - says Jakob has no chance of WRs this year
