Bowerman and the Men of Oregon is a fantastic book. He lead a really interesting life and the chapter on the 10th Mountain Division and the Rajneeshpuram is outstanding.
Born to Run is also a really interesting read. Even if your not into barefoot running and ultras its a cool book. Well done and gives you a bit of insight into a completely different world.
I'm almost done with Follow the Saltire: The Annals of Thames Hare and Hounds, 1868-2012
Runners World did a review a few years back:

Some parts are detailed race recaps and are dull. But some of the stories are just incredible. Really this is where club XC began.
Many years ago I came across the Hurdlers Bible by Wilber Ross. It is one of the best coaching/sprint/hurdle book I have ever read. Some of it is very technical but the information is timeless. Ross took the time to interview every top hurdler of his day. From those guys and his own experiences he learned the technique issues every hurdler faces and found out how those same guys went about fixing the issues.
