Just got my cholesterol results and my doctor wants me to schedule a follow-up to discuss a plan to lower my risk due to high LDL. I really don't want to go on a statin at this point:

Non-HDL 174
Triglycerides 65
Total Cholesterol 231
HDL 57
For some reason, my LDL has been steadily increasing over the last 7 years (it was 122 in 2014 and 131 in 2018). I'm 46. I've kept my weight down and other than eating pizza and ice cream once a week, I don't really think my diet has been all that bad.
