I hope your kidding. CrossFit games on ESPN had better ratings than the NYC Marathon...

The part about the Winter Games being on snow and ice is accurate as of right now, but the new IOC President has said that he is open to changes. One person who follows the Olympic Movement closely said the idea is to put a few popular indoor sports in the summer games. That might create a new set of problems, but the IOC could change the charter easily enough.
Not sure what you are saying. I understand the part about IOC president being open for changes (and you translating that to mean, without reference to anything he specifically said, that the fact that all winter olympic sports have always been sports performed on snow or ice could change in the future), but I don't get part I put in bold above. There are already are several popular indoor sports in the summer games. What do you mean by this, and how does it relate to a non-snow/ice surface sport becoming part of the winter games?

Why do you lie?
2013 NYC Marathon peaked at 845,000 in the NYC area alone plus there were 150,000 online viewers.
The 2012 Crossfit games on ESPN peaked at 333,000 viewers
In contrast, the Manchester United vs Chelsea soccer game attracted 3.1 million viewers.
X-C is already in the Olympics - it is just called the steeplechase.
Steeplechase has no hills. Only thrills. Not nearly as entertaining.
