You are correct. I understand it's hard to believe for some and non of it might sound plausible. That's okay. I am though. Full time student majoring in computer science. My schedule consist of upper division math and computer science classes. Followed by running close to 80 miles a week and practice.

Then drop a class and use that time to work more. You can always take a class in another semester/quarter. I know plenty of full time students that worked for more than 9 hours per week.

It's not us being unsupportive. It's you not making any sacrifices or working hard for this.

How is this guy in college? He can barely string senrence fragments together.

The best thing this guy can do for himself is learn how to read and write. Going to club nats, if funded by charity, enables this kid. It enables him to carry on in a child like state, which is perpetuated by his marginal talent as a runner.

College used to be for the elite of society. The participation award culture has now gotten so bad that even an illiterate (illegal immigrant?) can attend university.

If someone who had already QUALIFIED for the Olympic Trials came on here asking donations, I could understand. I'd even chip in a few bucks. But this is the club nats we are talking about, not even the USATF national xc championship. Its like the IC4As is to the NCAAs.

Also how the hell did this cost $1440? Are you pocketing some of this? I'm paying for my trip and the plane ticket was $450 round trip from Seattle.
