Dumb Philly girls with their nasally nails on chalkboard accent.
Seriously sound like they haven't blown their noses in years.

Wow! That was entertaining!
Midwest is the worst. The "ah" sound in, whether it is supposed to be hard as is "back" or soft as in "car", is turned into an ear grating hen gobble so that the phrase "I left my backpack in the car after I went to the bar" comes out "I left my behckpyeck in the kaerr ehyfter I went to the behr".
East coast accents aren't so bad. I actually kind of like the odd Baltimore mix of south and north.
I am not sure it is quite an accent, but the So Cal dude-speak is pretty annoying. Kyle Mooney nails it in his Inside So Cal skit that he did before coming to SNL:
Another vote for any and all New England - Boston, Rhode Island, New Hampshire, Maine. Those are the worst.
I'm from the DC area and have been exposed to lots of Philly and Baltimore accents, they don't bother me at all, I just see them as more entertaining than anything.
I don't find Minnesota accents offensive at all.

I am from New Hampshire, I have no accent. And I have lived outside of New England, no one has ever even mentioned an accent to me.

We don't speak that way in KC. That's Chicago.

I am with you here, Roy. In find the Southern accent worse, though. That would top my list. Southern grammar, diction, and slang are quite irritating, too. Things such as "fifty cent" instead of "fifty cents" and that such and such is "all tore up" is just horrible English.

Anyone claiming to hate a Southern Accent is just jealous of the accent.

Yes, it is like a woman claiming that she does not like a man with a French accent. Give me a break....

Yeah the white Pittsburgh accent is very annoying. Blacks here in the Burgh have a distinct accent but it's not as bad as the Whites.

They all have similar rankings in how terrible they are.
Whatever accent it is that the 1930's radio guys had. I don't even know how anyone can make themselves talk like that.

This. I live in Philly and a few of the women in my office have very strong Philadelphia accents. It's truly horrendous to listen to

For me it probably has to be the Cajun accent.
Thoughts anyone?
How can such a question even be asked? For me an American accent is an American accent. It can either sound 'white', which can be typified by how 'Marshall' from 'How I met Your Mother' speaks, or 'black', which in this case can be typified by Steve Harvey or someone else.. But what do I know about USA
