I think a lot of it could depend on whether El G has one of his countrymen in the final who will sacrifice his race to ensure a fast pace for El G. If so, I think he will most probably win. In a slower and more tactical race, it will be much more of a toss up. I think Lagat could challenge him. Ngeny better work on making sure he gets his EPO doses to the proper levels...wait I mean make sure his injury is better or something.
Webb. Well, I think it would be a great season if he makes the team and hits the standard. I don't see much more beyond that. Not that there is anything wrong with that. I just don't see Webb qualifying, hitting the standard, going through multiple rounds at Worlds, and then placing well. It is just too much.
