I've never understood this logic. I knew Matthew when he was in HS and he had acne then yet people now equate it with drugs. Actually now that I'm typing it I guess I can understand how someone who didn't know him as a pimply 17 year old would assume that it's something new and assume it means something much deeper.

I don't necessarily disagree, but Centro does have a much better track record at the major championships. He has two medals and a 4th to manzano's OG silver (which is awesome) and many flameouts.

Not sure the more frequent US champ holds any merrit as Manzano is much older than Matt and has had way more chances. A better bullet point would have been their recent head to head.

Manzano beats "America's best miler" again. Head to head I think Manzano has proved himself. He's the best right now and has a better career in my opinion. Centro is younger and could change that though.

Uhhhhhh it was the jetlag. Matty is a bit soft and can't handle first class travel.

The other runners magically avoided the jetlag certified excuse.
