this past sunday, i was out on a normal 5 mile run, nothing hard or anything, and got this pain on top of my ankle in the tendon that runs down to the big toe. monday, i went for a normal 8, again, nothing unusual or too hard, tuesday, i went to the trainer at school, and he said he thought it was an irritation of the sheath that the tendon goes through, but that he had mostly seen it in peoples hands. heres the interesting part, it mostly hurts when i either point my toes ALL the way out, or pull back, all the way, but it does not hurt in my racing spikes, only in my trainers, where it feels like its being 'pinched'. this makes it seem like it's the shoes, but i've been using the same make/model for the past year and it hasn't yielded any problems. anyone who has had anything similar, and knows what to do, or has any advice, i'd really appreciate it.
