You still haven't addressed why it is imperative to be told this immediately
How strange .... and yet odd.
Very strange that this administration that is so "open and transparent" is the only nation that won't even say how many died much less who.
Exactly, this has nothing to do with notifying the family members. We aren't talking about names, just numbers. For some reason every other country has no issue reporting their number. Why can't the U.S. get its act together?
Why do you need to know right now how many Americans died? Why?
Ask your congressman.
(Good luck)
Um, maybe there were no Americans on board. Ever think of that? The latest non-Fox News (credible) report I saw listed all nationalities with a total of four "whose nationalities could not be confirmed as of yet." There were zero - ZERO -Americans.
How about you calm down and stop seeing a conspiracy behind every minor thing like this?

According to the BBC (Credible), there were at most 4 Americans on board:
http://www.bbc.com/news/world-asia-283619081. Because they may not yet have had completed confirmation on boarded passengers vs. manifested (dual passports, etc.).
2. Because they're may be people on board who they can neither confirm nor deny exist (if you catch my drift).
What does this have to do with Obama? Aren't the Malaysjans the ones with the numbers?

because russia shot down a plane with americans on board.
And that means we immediately need to know how many Americans were on board why?
Also, I'm not sure saying "Russia shot down a plane" is accurate.

well, via proxy, russia did it. there has been evidence russia is providing aid to the pro-russian rebels, and the two are basically one in the same. what if i hired someone to kill your mom? technically *I* didn't do it, but... it was still me.
that being said, it would be good if the administration acknowledged the act, and stated the facts. why should it be secret?

1. That's a bad analogy, because Russia didn't hire the rebels to shoot down this plane. Saying Russia shot down the plane is inaccurate and misleading at best. But I've seen enough of your posts to know that being straightforward isn't your MO.
2. Maybe it isn't secret and they are still gathering intel? Regardless, why is it so necessary for all of the US to have this information RIGHT NOW?

Because I prefer not to live in a totalitarian state where no information is shared to the public, but that might just be me.
There is evidence that the separatists acquired the Buk after taking over a Ukrainian missile base during this conflict. It is possible the Russians sold the Buk to the Ukrainians at some point in the past, but I haven't seen reports stating the Russians provided the Buk to the separatists.

You missed the bolded part.
What do they have to gain by delaying the report of the NUMBER of casualties? Again, every other country seems to be able to do so without an issue.

He's clearly said there was one. Try to keep up.

So you still don't have a reason for why, right now, all of America needs to know. There are a lot of good reasons as to why they should wait (such as further clarification).
