I had either forgotten or didn't know about the Boys & Girls Club angle with "The Decision". It's nice that he gave them a meaningful amount of money [and filmed the thing at a Boys & Girls Club], but there are a ton of ways LeBron could have raised that amount of money for them [or simply donated it out of his own pocket.] I see no evidence that the genesis of "The Decision" was to raise money for a charity; rather, once the choice had been made to do the show, LeBron and his team decided it would be nice to give at least some of the proceeds to a worthy cause. That's fine, good even, but doesn't excuse doing the show at all.
I'd never heard this business about LeBron's mom dating one of his teammates. And that teammate was...?
