I did not quote her 400 speed, but I did read that she had a few sub 51 splits during the college season.
Although it was just a 2 minute effort, 51.4 is the best I could find.

I predict she will be one of the poster girls for track & field in Rio 2016. She has the talent and the looks. Comes from a small town with a great story of winning all those state titles. If she gets her times down to content for a medal, she is going to be on TV a lot. Which is fine by me.
thanks for the good coverage. shame you didn't catch up with vessey

The competition had better get used to seeing this.

By the way she does not have 50 second 400 speed. Maybe mid 51s on a relay.
She ran a 51.45 anchor for Oregon way back in 2011 as a freshman. Indoors ran a leg of Oregon’s collegiate-record 4×400 relay in 51.25 to help clinch the Ducks’ fifth consecutive national team title over Texas by just .02 seconds in 3:27.40.
Anyone know her split at NCAA outdoors? She certainly seems capable of a sub-51 at some point.
Look at this picture of her receiving the baton behind Kansas State.

By the time she finished, she was 3rd in 3:29.03, and K State was DFL in 3:34.76. That had to be a great split, but I cannot find out what it was!
Ah here it is. I thought Roesler anchored, but guess not.
3. Oregon 3:29.03
(Christian Brennan' 55.8,
Chizoba Okodogbe 51.6',
Laura Roesler 51.61,
Phyllis Francis 50.01 [#10 NCAA split ever]);
