Hi to everyone,
What would you do if you had sore muscles the days before a championship 5K race?!
Well this is my situation. Someone advises me to continue running consistent mileage (i dropped from around 100 miles/week to 50 during a two-week taper, going from 10 training-units/week to 5-6) because the pain will disappear.
My body tells me I should totally rest for at least 2-3 days.
I have my race on Saturday, the soreness is at most in my calves and I can't understand why.
Any suggestions/comments?
