I know this post may be seen as a troll thread, but I've never gone above 20 miles per week on a consistent basis... I've always been inconsistent (20mpw 1 week, 10 the next, 15 after that, etc).
This is currently my 3rd week of doing more than 20 mpw consistently, this is the mileage so far.
1st week: 20
2nd week: 22
3rd week (this week): Goal is 24
I run 5 - 6 days of the week, averaging 4 - 4.5 miles per run, and I hope to do 30 - 35 mpw consistently by the end of the summer.
But my left knee joint has been hurting consistently after my runs.... not an excruciating pain, but a slight, dull pain that continues up to 1-2 hours after the run has ended.
What is going on here? Should I visit a doctor, or is this simply a temporary symptom of doing more running?
