I'm going to start doubling 3-4 days a week, mainly because my legs feel very very antsy if I don't run for 12+ hours and they have a very weird feeling where I have to exercise them or it feels like I am losing muscle in my legs or something. It's hard to describe.
Still in high school and I'm pretty mediocre - my singles don't go over 7 miles, after that I just get REALLY bored. Usually I do 6 with .5 warmup/cool down.
Would it be beneficial if I did 4 miles in the morning and 4 miles in the evening? I'm basically wondering how I can split the runs up efficiently and best so that I can benefit most from doubling.
