First off, I just graduated high school. I ran 17s my senior year xc, 4:40s mile, and 2:04 800. All off of like 35 miles or less most weeks, sometimes even 20 mpw. I'd like to run in college but honestly just not good enough obviously. Does anyone think it's likely I could improve with a huge increase in mileage? I ran 85miles one week in April just for fun by running twice a day, and truthfully I didn't feel any worse physically than I do when I'm at 35mpw. That's the only outlier on my mileage. I also have a 1:25 half marathon PR and would split 50-51 on my leg in the 4x400m. Could I high mileage potentially put me at the next level?
