The Alaskan Kenyans are probably going to be too affected by a drop in vitamin D due to the time of year to perform 4th.
There is only like 4 hours of daylight in anchorage right now. So they will actually be getting more vitamin d in louisville. Thats just a silly myth anyway
You have Malone and Western over USI? USI's top 2 are strong enough to propel them into the top 6 teams.
Honesty I agree...USI might not even make it out of regionals with their spread...
You could be right about Sayler. But as someone hoping to see Adams get knocked off (nothing personal just like my midwest teams) I hope Sayler struggles in the big race like happened at Paul Short. (yeah he was actually there just way back) Espeset ran fine at their home meet at altitude so we can't play the "he'll run better at sea level" crap. I've never trained at altitude but shouldn't someone who would win at altitude win at sea level?
As much as I'd like to think you are right that Peterson will be with the "Big 3" there is almost no way. Compare PR's on the track. Look at conference results from this weekend. Look at who Peterson has beat and who the Adams guys have. GV is deeper, and Peterson is good, but he won't be competing for a win. I wish I could say he will, but lesbihonest.
Don't forget about the rest of the GV pack... You have Kyle Flores, and Chris May all right outside of being all-american last year. You can bet your @$$ that they will be shooting for at least top 30. They have Chad Cini who will probably be shooting for top 15. They have a transfer from Adams who I would be willing to bet is shooting for top 40. Then from what I've read they also have a track all-american?
Track all-American is Bryce Bradley, he ran 14:10 at outdoor nationals. Missed a couple meets this year. Finished third for GV at GLIACs.
Their course, they win.
I have a strange feeling Alaska anchorage men will be up there. Possibly top 3 or better
Just an example.. Samoei came 32 at NCAA last year as a freshmen. This year he came 5th for them at conference.
Which 4 teams will make it out of the Midwest region? Besides Grand valley anyway
Maybe this already has been covered, but why is the national meet so late this year? Or is it this late every year?
They should hold the d2 national meet in Gunnison, CO. That would be really cool to watch. You'd have guys probably not breaking 40minutes
Division 2 festival. All sports are held in Louisville
Doesn't really matter, Grandvalley is the only school worth mentioning. Adams, Mines and Western...that is a regional
1. GV
2. Malone
3. Ashland
4. USI
Hillsdale will challenge for the 4th spot to nationals
Absolute dog fight in the Midwest today. Looks like ashland proved lots of people wrong. USI falling off late in the season, malone excelling. GV looking at that national title ??
What is wrong with USI's Johnnie Guy? I just saw the results and he finished 5th?
