Hello, I just finished my last high school track season, and am not planning on running varsity track/xc in college. However, I would like to at least stay semi-competitive in running, and I have always loved long runs and have been more of an endurance oriented runner. For the record, my prs in track are around 4:40/10:00. I was wondering how you guys think I should progress into running longer distances (like half-marathons and marathons). I am currently 18, and am thinking about doing a half this fall and then maybe a full marathon next spring, but I'm not completely sure if that's the best way to go. Any thoughts?
