rupp since he's faster than the others and has a good championship record
rupp is a punkassbitch doper
pre could never win in Europe
Ryun, so superior in every way
Rupp will blast the 10k AR this weekend. A new legend will be made: Rupp as the top distance doggy.
Ryun. WR holder for years
Pre. Many AR records. 4th Olympics age 21. Died age 24.
Rupp. 2nd Olympics age 26.

Ryun. 4 x WR (1500, mile, 880) many ARs (880, 1500, mile, 2 mile) 3x Olympics age 17, age 21 2nd, age 25
Rupp. 2nd Olympics age 26.
Pre. Many AR records. 4th Olympics age 21. Died age 24.
Liquori, Mills, Wottle and Shorter rate ahead of Pre.

Good assessment.
Ryun's legendary Dusseldorf race - most of the last lap anyway. 36+ last 300. Unreal. He doesn't look human. Then again, most world class runners are freaks of nature.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NUsEuv3DebsWhat's the point of comparing runners in completely different events? Like how comparing Bolt to Rudisha is pretty much futile.
Pre,toughest.
Ryan, most talented.
Rupp, one good race but best in PRWs. Hint: post-....
Also, two of the three did not use the lack of Rupp Certification (tm) as an excuse when they screwed the pooch.
Rupp came close to running Pre's 5k PR two times without stopping, so I'm going with Rupp. He's got a better mile PR than Ryun.

As well as Herb Elliott, Peter Snell, & Kip Keino.
What's your point?
By my expert reckoning Coe would drop any of these runners in the homestretch of any and all races at all distances. Furthermore, after watching the Youtube vid of Ryun's 36.4 last 300 in a 3:38.2 1500, I have calculated Coe would have finished with a 34.5 in the same race.
