Anyone here get mentally foggy, sometimes dizzy during hard periods of training? Not just talking during runs, but during the day\night too. Usually accompanied by general tiredness and feeling beat down. Just trying to determine if I'm alone.

no one?!
Yeah I've had that. It could relate to -
- being dehydrated or chronically dehydrated (likely cause)
- low blood pressure (which also relates to hydration level)
- diet. Are you eating enough fat, proteins, iron?
I had your symptoms in college & eventually found out I wasn't drinking enough water & eating enough of the above foods. My blood pressure in standing was also very low & I felt like I'd pass out if I stood up quickly.
funny, because i posted this last night, and drank a ton of water and feel better. i am not sure about the blood pressure, mine has typically been low to good range. as for the fat, protein and iron, i typically get enough fat and protein. as for iron, i always feel way better the next morning after eating a big steak, though i have never been diagnosed as iron deficient.
dehydration! I recommend a drink called pedialyte. It is better than gatorade. You can find it in the children's cold/flu section of grocery stores.
