Whats up with this guy ? He seems to be running a marathon or Half every single weekend? how is he doing that? only making enough to cover his air fair if lucky.(doesn't drop out, like I see some races he does)

bump
It gets easier, and faster to recover, the more you do it. Won't get a peak effort though (I always feel sapped at the end, as compared to a tapered and rested marathon). You can expect to run about 2-8 min. off your marathon PR doing it over and over again.
He's inspired by Kawauchi.
probably doping. Nothing recovers like EPO.
Its kind if obivous if you ask me. Look at the results. I wish they would test these guys. Even if he is running 2:27's.

makes you wonder about guys like Wardian
This is about arturs not other runners. This guy is very suspcious and he is doing this to himself by putting himself out there to get caught.
How the hell did he make the lativa world championsips with a 1:11.
^because its latvia lol. seriously. i doubt the country has any other runners that are trying to be competitive
ive seen this guy at some local 5k's, i live in illinois. seems like he is really focused on running, wonder what his other plans are. i havent been following his results, but it does seem odd if he's running a full marathon everyweek..half marathon not so much. meh, whatever floats his boat.
is he actually putting up elite times are just flying around to make a few hundred bucks here and there? whats the story?
seems like a guy who is just too addicted to racing, unless this is building towards some end goal where he will actual be running elite/sub-elite times (i assume to represent his country)?
hmm just checked out his blog. so i guess his end goal is to represent latvia in the 2016 games. im assuming he'll do so because latvia will just allow him to represent them. so does he even have to run any certain standard?
67:40 and 2:27 PRs, nothing special. seems like a guy chasing his dream though so i do give him props for that. he raised $5000 to go to kenya which is crazy. part of me admires guy's like this who are still chasing a dream, id say im a bit jealous. the other part of me wonders what this guy's backup plan is after 2016 in terms of financial stability and all that jazz.
but i cant knock him, im sure itll be amazing to run in the olympics. just to be fair though, if he didnt have latvian citizenship then this dream wouldnt be possible at all.
thoughts?
Those are middle school times. Dudes a wanna be baller.haha l.ser
What are your PRs big guy?

I will agree with the OP, This guy is looking to get tested, especially if he keeps racing like this, look at Jynocel Basweti, a Kenyan who got busted for EPO guy ran like 10-15 marathons a year. sometimes week to week and always seemed to run low 2:20's. These is no doubt this Artur dude is on something Illegal. Only a matter of time.
This African was taken more than EPO. His jaw is very suspicious.
Actually, his PR is 2:25 from Twin Cities 2 years ago.
He posted his training in the weekly training thread for a few months last year. It was pretty high mileage and he routinely ran 2:30-2:35 marathons in practice for long runs, and IIRC he also did a lot of Canova-inspired workouts. So a lot of these marathons probably aren't all out efforts for him.
Haha gotta laugh at prob not all out efforts. Dude is proving he is running all out but claims he is doing this effort, that effort all b
.s dude needs to go back to that weird as" country lativam
Wonder when he will race again......
How is he proving that he is running all out?
Haha umm read his blog. He always says not all out but if you look at his races results. What race is he waiting for? What a tool.
