If she actually did go out in 59.5, I would say this sets her up run 1:58x at Pre. Right now, there are a ton of 1:59 types, the U.S. has over a half dozen of them. 2-3 NCAA ladies will probably run 1:59 this year. It is kind of like being a 45x quarter miler, it is a solid world class time, but there are so many of them. You really have to go 1:58x to separate yourself from the crowd and be capable of sub-1:58 to be competitive in global championships.

I am more impressed to see Price get second in a DL meet as opposed to the time because she has run 2 flat so many times this is hardly a breakout performance.

Better than the time was the quality of the field she beat (minus Sum).

Good to see Meadows back in the game, and Beckwith looking strong.

Price can definitely go faster as the rabbit was useless and way ahead of everyone. I'd estimate Price was out no faster than probably 59.5 at 400. She was very strong today.
