How about longest time between PR's.
My 5K PR is from 1994. 14:55
Last year I ran 17:02 and so far this year- 16:25
If I run 14:54 more than 10 years later that would feel like a huge PR.

200-23.2
400-54.4

Mile-5:10
5k- 17:38
10K- 35:43
I've been injured for about a year now, but i'm looking for an awesome track season. Most of these times are from my Sophomore year. I'm a senior this year.
I hope all these go down alot. I didn't work hard all summer for nothing.
400m-56
800m-2:04.00
1600m- 4:44 we have a time trial tommorrow so maybe I can take that this one down if I feel alright.
3200m- 10:33(This one should be easy)
5000m- 17:24(last weekend, soon to be faster)
I hope I win for two reason, I wanna run alot faster than last year and I want my free beverage...
To Pete and anyone else who asked for specific consideration - make a good enough argument and I'll except all kinds of winners.
JEH - I didn't intentionally omit you, of course, you just left your PR's off the last thread.
To Shooter - He brings up a good point. If I don't grow a beard than I won't be able to buy anyone a beer, because I look like a 6-4 twelve year old.
To the guy with the slightly better 5k PR than me... I'm still pissed about that, and I don't think Spinal Tap is a very good movie. Will you be at the races this weekend?
Sorry for the delayed response - I lost internet access till next Wednesday.
Anybody think they might be an early leader?
1mile: 4:40
3k: 9:41
5k: 16:50
goofy, after the kick you saw me unleash on that training run up in jersey, you might as well give me the prize now.
800- 1:51.83
1500- 4:05.doesitmatteritssoslow
800- 2:14 (split) 2:17 open
1600- 5:17
3200- 10:51
5k XC- 17:54
5 mile road- ~29:30, officially 30:09
I will be mostly competing in the 3200 and 1600 in track this season.
5k 15:15
10k 33:00
marathon 2:27:54
I'm in, but you can leave out the beers. I'll do this for pride:
Cross: 10km- about 31mins (2000)
12km- about 37mins (2002)
Can I update this later when I find the results?
Track : 10000m- 30:15 (2003)
5000m- 14:36 (2000)
3000m- 8:27 (2001)
1500m- 3:55 (2001)
(All outdoors)
Matt
Ah what the heck. Maybe if my knee heals and I can start training again, I'll throw down a PR.
I have no idea what I'll race, but I'll just throw out all of my PR's:
400- 61.5
800 - 2:15
1600 - 4:49
3000 - 9:48
5000 - 17:31
4 miles xc - 22:58
8k xc - 28:24
better be good beer!
You need a sliding scale for us old f*ckers that are running out of time. We need beer too but it is impossible now to break those old PRs.
5k - 15:19 (1991) - I'm shooting for 17 minutes this year. If I do it then that will be an old fart PR for sure.
1500m: 4:06
3000m: 8:46
5000m: 15:12
What no 1200 pr? I mean if you're gonna shatter the 3 minute barrier you might as well win something for it. I'm not buying you a beer though, your team has enough problems with drinking.... OHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!

Here's the progress:
59:50 for 15K (3:25 PR)
1:22:30 for 1/2 this morning (5:18 PR)
Freescale in February: expect ~2:53 (~15:00 PR)
These give me a good chance at the 2 beers?
1600 - 4:44
3000 - 9:40
5000 - 16:48
8000 - 27:50
8mile: 46:48
9mile: 52:57
10mile: 59:05
That 3k is going to drop I hope.

My mistake--wrote down my splits w/o adding parts of seconds. It kinda adds up.
800-1:51.62
1500-4:11
5k-17:03
10k-36:19
Looking for big PRs in 15 and 5k. Sub 4 and sub 16 hopefully
Will it win you the big prize? Too close to call, but you're at least the early leader.
