Well, apparently when Mr Rupp came out to play, he was able to run .27 of a second faster than during "the JV season." Perhaps his daddy Alberto should have grounded him.
remind me again, how far behind Ndiku was Rupp? and how about True? Or any of Jerry's boys? while you're at it, why don't you list the Top 5 DL finishes each had this summer...I know Rupp had a few, but refresh my memory on the others....

Indoor tracks are much more Rupp certified. No wind, no pollen, handpicked pacers. Alan Webb in Belgium approves.
You say it "aint about time" when Rupp cannot run fast. Somehow you weren't saying that when he ran 26:44. Which is it? Rupp wanted to run fast at 5000m during a non-championship year, and he CANNOT do it. It is no crime, but please accept reality. He will NEVER sniff 12:45 like ventolin and the fanboys, i.e., those like ventolin who do not understand the sport, thought he would...
