I am a F hoping to run a 3:07 marathon in 4 weeks. I have done about an 18 week build up maxing out at 70 miles. I usually do a 3 week taper but am thinking of trying a two week taper this time.
Would appreciate advice regarding whether you would recommend a two week taper and if so, what a two week taper would look like mileage wise based on a 70 mile week this coming week and the week after. I plan on doing a 23 mile long run next Saturday (3 weeks out) and a 20 mile long run 2 weeks out. What should I cut back to 1 week out?
