Pretty darn good.
Joanna Atkins was pretty darn good as well in women's action at the FLorida relays as she ran 11.09 and 22.27.

Yikes that seems fast. How often do guys break 20 in NCAA?
Probably 19.8-high basic
Into 19.7s with +ve wind
( no rest, 100 before )
All from raw kid
USA has greatest athletes of all time !!!
The talent pool of speed/power for raw talent defies belief !!!
19.97 into a serious wind !!!
Where on the planet can you find these awesomes ?
Will the kid even dream of anything other than wide-receiver for the Cowboys ?
I hope he stays at least this year at 200 before wide-receivering for other sport
Even if not, thanks for memories :
Mr Dukes
I was personally at the meet and it was a beautiful sight. They actually ran from the start/finish line to the 200m start area because there was such a head wind down the home stretch. Dukes looked amazing and seemed like he was on a whole other level. Unfortunately, where you have great performances, there's always those that don't live up to expectations. One of my favorite sprinters of all time, Jeremy Wariner, was there and he got demolished. He just looked off today but it's nice to see him still running.
Also, the other events provided some awesome action. Watching Uceny battle Corey McGee in the 8 was fun. Also, Sean Obinwa ran a great 1:46.59 to get the win in the men's 8 with teammate Andres Arroyo coming in 4th with a new pr by 0.2 of 1:47.5x was also one of my favorite moments of the meet. Bershawn "Batman" Jackson also ran a decent 1:53 800 together 2nd in his heat.

If there was a huge headwind down the homestretch, and they ran the 200 race from the standard start/finish line and finished on the backstretch, wouldn't that mean he had a big tailwind for this time?
Maybe ventolin^3 could make 6000 bizarre calculations and tell us something about this?
Keep an eye out on Ceo Ways, the freshman from UNC. Ran 45.93 in the quarter, came back to run 20.56 in the 200 invite section.

He's not listed on the football roster so maybe he decided choose Track.
I was also at the meet (though I sadly/stupidly missed the 200m). What the hell happened to Wariner? 22.45?
He looked off yesterday. It was painful to watch

last place. maybe he pulled something near the end?
He ran 20.8x recently at TCU and Clyde Hart mentioned that the 200 time has to go down. 22.45 is not a "little off": Some college 50-low guys can do better than that. But this is a guy that has had surgeries on both knees and his toe, and the most important thing is to get through the season healthy. With the headwind, he could have been under instructions from Clyde to just stride through the home stretch to avoid pulling/straining anything this early in the season.
I'd look for him in the Michael Johnson Invite later this month.
22.45? Seriously?
lol, where is SG to gloat?
I didn't even know he was still seriously competing. Sprintgeezer "calling it now" in 2013 is pretty hilarious. Wariner's been done since 2010. He still had an outside shot in 2009.
I see him warming up for the men's 4x4. Hopefully he puts together a good 4. I will post updates after the race.
Wariner looked okay, his group was way out of contention but he looked okay, oh and....
2:59.73 GO GATORS YEAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH

Good tune-up race but Jackson, but not impressive, Felix Sanchez ran 1:48.xx not so long ago.
I hated the guy then and I hate him now even if he's dead, but I remember him calling it earlier than that--

I want him back if he's not dead, with all the drug busts and the new guys coming up there is a lot of fodder for him.
As far as Wariner is concerned, he must have just slacked that 200, because that time is so bad. Given what he's done before, he could just dog that kind of time. I'm pretty sure that he's worth a lot better than that. OTOH if not, then it's time for him to enter some local all-comer's meets, where he will still get beaten by lots of hacks.
Since SG has left, I have paid absolutely zero attention to the sprints, lol. Now I'm into biathlon, dig that Chad Salmela guy! I'd watch the whole circuit if that guy was commentating.
Track needs a Chad Salmela.
Dedrik Dukes! Where do you American's get such silly names?
Seems like a play on Derrick and Deidre. I think it's creative.
