Why don't you? How can you tell if someone is genetically albino without a genetic test? You should sell your secret. You would save people lots of time and money.

Just let it go man. SMJO is the most delusional poster on this board. He will never admit his mistakes.

Like here. Why is he putting "I" in quotations? Does he not know what quotation marks are used for? Apparently not.

I've been training for about a year with a coach. He's a nice fellow, but told me after a track meet the week that I'm just "not a dude with a good genetics". I had just had a huge PB, and he did not even congratulate me. The entire race I had run really strong, even carrying almost half of the luggage at one point in the run. Literally wheeling it along, dodging in and out trying to get through, and he ignored almost every moment of it, just looking throught the window as if I wasn't even running. He just sat there at the Starbucks, nodding his head. I passed the 3rd place guy at one point even, coming very close to placing.
What kind of comment is that?
9.95 / 10. This is trolling at a very high level, and I'm glad to see it has been rewarded with many pages of serious responses. The luggage, the odd typos, the Starbucks [+ the follow-up comments about the Starbucks] - genius. Would give it a full 10/10, but then what would be your motivation to troll again?
If I were your coach the first thing I'd tell you would be to leave your luggage in the stands. Even if it has a really good set of rollers you wont be able to keep up with the others if you insist on wheeling it around the track.

how did the guy carrying the other almost half of the luggage do?
He actually said BAAAAA.

I made a mistake by having discussions with morons.
Solidarity brothers. 8th grade Cross Country city meet. It was jungle out there. Emerging through the brush I found myself in the front of the back pack. Scared, I threw on the breaks so hard, my engine seized (I have asthma). Coach K was actually happy, which was the most irritating bit considering the whole thing.

The only one who is a moron here is you. You think you can tell if someone is a genetic albino just by looking at them yet doctors and medical professionals all around the world have to use genetic tests before they can determine that. Please explain how your eyes can do what requires expensive testing and diagnosis by everyone else. Why have you not sold your secret and made millions?

Let me guess. You're going to say that you are correct and all of the medical professionals don't know what they are doing.
Why would there be money involved?

"Coach K?" You didn't go to school in Indiana, did you?

You don't know why there would be money involved if you could replace an expensive test procedure with a cheaper one? Really?
Why have you ignored the main question but yet you ask this question? Why do doctors depend on genetic tests to determine albinism but you can do it without genetic tests?
You were implying that I was interested in money.... Why should I care if medical facilities want to charge for something that can't be fixed?
They do not do genetic tests to the degree you think. Most cases occur in Sub-Saharan Africa. Do you think genetic testing for something that is patently obvious to someone with half a brain is a top priority there?
There is nothing that can be done about albinism short of sunscreen and eyewear.
Try again.
I would ignore what people say on here. Every one that comments on here thinks they know everything. "Some" runners benefit from negative feedback. But your coach should not be saying you have poor genetics. There is no need for that to be pointed out even if it is true. Unless you are trying to be an Olympian. Ignore the people on here, 90% of them will give negative responses no matter what your question is. They like to make people feel stupid, like they know everything.

No, you're the one who is failing. You need to try to read again.
I didn't say they were charging for something that can't be fixed. I said they were charging for a diagnosis test to see if genes were even responsible for the albinism. I said nothing about fixing.
You really think that doctors and other medical professionals are only half-brained because they require a genetic test before concluding that people are genetically albino? You're really saying that PROFESSIONALS and their tools are a waste and that your eyeballs can simply just confirm that genes are the cause?
There are plenty of things that can be done for albinism. You are wrong about this too.
