This is just bizarre to me. Apparently its cool to say you like inn-n-out. There is almost no difference between them and mcdonalds or any other burger place. It's all just sh!tty fast food and it doesn't even taste that great.

bump
Cheeseburger made animal style. McDs won't do that.
Unless you live around Seattle, it's all about the Dicks up there.
Umm, ever heard of del taco?
FWIW, I've never been to one since we don't have them in my area.

Option A: It is all a giant conspiracy to boost the profile of an uninteresting fast food restaurant.
Option B: Your taste in burgers is in the minority.
Option C: You're a food snob, which means that unlike most professional chefs, you will never enjoy a fast food joint of any type because your tastes are so highly evolved.
Those are good burgers, Walter

Dick's is about 100 steps below In N Out and even a few steps below Mcdonalds. Soggy, oily fries, burgers that taste like dirty ketchup, and everything was made already before you got there. Borderline passable milkshakes
The f*ck you talking about bra? Only their cheese burger/ham burger have ketchup on it....and if that is what you're ordering, you're a noob. Everyone knows you order the special or the deluxe.
Comparing them the McDonalds is straight delusional...at least Dicks uses real beef and cheese, unlike the processed sh*t you get at McDonalds.
And as far as claiming everything is pre-made...I only notice this happens during the busy lunch hours and friday/saturday nights. And even then, it was made like 5 minutes before you order it, and they have to do that because of the pure volume of orders coming in.
You sound like a Dicks hater, I bet you're from the bay area ;)
But honestly, it doesn't matter that you don't like it because there are about a million people who would likely disagree with you.
To each their own.
My vote is for Tommy's burgers in Southern California.
In 'n Out has Mexicans rub their balls on the patties before they're cooked. Gives 'em that zesty taste.
Because they've never had 5 Guys, obviously.

WTF is that muddy crap doing on the fries? Also the burgers in that picture looks obviously fake.
5 guys is a lame rip-off of in n out. The reason people say In N Out is good is not because it is the omg best burger ever, rather, the quality food and portions you get for a very good price is much better than other fast food joints. Regardless, five guys sucks.

Typical LA loser, probably never even been to 5 Guys. They have zero in common with In n Out, which is just a slightly better McDonalds.

Not here either. Taco Bell, baby...all the way.

Great burgers, but no way can Five Guys be considered fast food. I've had 5-course meals that have made it from soup to nuts faster than Five Guys can sack a burger and fries.

It's chilli and it actually tastes delicious. Tommy's is definitely one of the best in California.
In-N-Out double cheese burgers are great.
Everything is fresh and they are definitely tasty.
All other fast food burgers (MacDonalds, Carl's Jrs, Burger King, Wendys, etc.) taste like cardboard.
In-N-Out burgers are juicy and the buns are soft, they're not not too dense (Doughy) like the other chains.
There is a real difference.
It's easy to knock something you've never tried.
