Which College XC/Track Teams Party the Hardest?

Personally, I was an NCAA champion and a 3.9-4.0 student... I partied 3-5 times a week. Friday was long island night at one of the local establishments - I called it my pre-race special. There was at least one I occasion where I consumed alcohol within one hour of an NCAA championship event.

Its all about balance and I relate it to an equalateral triangle, where every aspect of your life has equal importance. I believe that Academics, Running and having a Social Life all have equal value.

I ran at Arkansas in the mid 1990's. There were no limitations. Not proud of it now but we did some stupid stuff. Other than loads of alcohol, we did tons of weed and coke. Off season did not speed up or slow things down.

I was on the lighter side, drinking only once- maybe twice per week. While we won lots of championships, not may Razorbacks graduated.

syracuse xc. friends of mine went to one of their parties. I'm going off of what they told me, it definitely sounded crazy.

My friend who currently runs for Stanford told me they go hard. The guys and girls are passing out on a weekly basis. They party a ton and he even said there was a team sex tape going around!

Stanford is crazy and they're crazy good!

I graduated from Providence College recently. The team is loaded with Irish and Commonwealth athletes. While we took care of business, jesus christ we partied hard afterwards. Also respect to Brown University. Their team knew how to rage.

I heard Ray was a maniac in his day. Still knows how to enjoy a few with the alumni.

lets here more about some of the other pac-12 schools like Oregon, USC, UCLA, and Washington. And what about some more big 10 schools like Michigan, Indiana, Wisconsin (heard they go hard), Illinois etc.

And lets quantify the debate by saying it's about who has the best parties/gets the most girls, rather than who gets the most hammerhead drunk in the corner with 18 other dudes and 2 fat chicks.

Yeah, so my name is Chad, and I'm an alcoholic. While I may not have finished my eligibility, I started my freshman year on the roster at Michigan State. Boy oh boy, did I throw down. Notice how I said I, not we. Pruny old men made me quit before I got my first semester under my belt. Really quite a shame.

Cal Poly is known to party pretty hard.

Funnily enough, many of the stereotypical college party schools xc/track teams don't go as hard as some other places. For example, Karen Harvey keeps a strict watch on the FSU team...

The guys on my team won an DI NCAA championship and we all had 4.0s at the #1 academically ranked school in the country. We'd get hammered on the bus to the meet, and then race while high on weed, coke and ecstasy. Sometimes we'd shoot heroine when we hit the 5k mark.

We sipped cough syrup with codeine on the cool down. And then ripped like eight shots of patron. Freshman only did seven. Weak.

If we swept the top five places, our coach would let us invite models and hookers on the bus. Wait sorry, I meant private plane. This happened every race. Except once...Bekele was racing unattached and broke up our 4 and 5 guys.

Speaking of the coaching staff, Jay-Z, Lindsay Lohan, and Hugh Hefner all served time on our roster as "volunteer assistant coaches". They wanted to learn how to party. Each quit like a day after joining...they just couldn't hang.

And you guys say you "go hard". Ha! Learn to party ya bunch slowpokes.
