Okay, the Head Coach of the T&F program I work on does not like kids going outside below 40 (background: we work at an inner-city school in the NE part of the country. Our facilities suck, we don't even have any exercise bikes in the building.) I've talked him into letting the distance group go out under 40, but when it hits below freezing, he basically makes me keep them inside. With a good bit of snow the past few weeks, fresh stuff this week, and temps not expected to reach 25 until sometime next week, what are some things I can do to try to work on aerobic conditioning?
On a flip-side are there any arguments/reasons I can present to the HC to allow the kids out?
