I hope Rupp runs 8:03 or faster

That NEVER gets old!
i agree with vert. (his calculations only)
rupp is good for 802 indoor.
the thing is what are the chances of that?
most guys don't change their style overnight so rupp will probably run away from the rail again, kissing a couple seconds goodby.
then well rabbited races are rare. further reducing chances of an optimal time.
a agree that rupp can go 349 too, but that's under an optimal scenario too.
probably rupp will go for it, and al-sal will set it up pretty well with pacers and he's really on form.
all considered, the vegas bet is an 8:04 high.
I would really like to see the total costs of having these rabbits. Gilland probably got a bunch of free stuff, how much will birgen make for this rabbiting job?

Fawn Dorr is rabbiting erratic splits. Proved herself last week in Cains 1000. The plan is for her to alternate 25 and 35 second laps. Salazar really wants to test Rupps strength here. This is certainly prove of his kick is for real.
Basically a faster version of the famed Oregon 30/40 workout that Pre and Salazar made famous.
Any info concerning Rupp's recovery in the last few days. I mean in the post race workout, after his 5000, he looked totally wiped out. He looked like a person just pulled from the ocean after being adrift for a month in the sun. Just wondering if he has recovered fully yet from that 5000?

You know damn well if he wasn't 100% recovered and ready to go. Salazar would pull the plug on the race. They don't mess around pushing themselves if unready.

Wasn't suggesting he might be in such condition that they might or should pull the plug. I was just thinking it might show up with 600 to go...and could be difference in a 8:11 and a 8:06.

In before "NOP magic recovery drugs aka doping" comment.
They have had these record attempts planned from the get go. Salazar is a smart guy and clearly has engineered the training plan to be 100% ready each race.

Yea you guys are right. Believe me, I'm NOP top fan! Be watching every stride. Galen has mentioned he wants that 2m record back! If I had to bet, I'd put my money on him. Just a little worried.
