I ran pretty consistently this fall on my cross team but was injured in mid September. I was forced to end my cross season and take a couple weeks off, and then some time for just getting my legs back. I have been running around 40 mpw since and am in decent shape.
I am now battling tendonitis in my hip and have taken the last week off because of it. It's starting to feel a lot better and I should be able to run pain free by the end of the week.
Anyways, I was in 15:10 shape during cross and was probably back to ~15:45 shape before I took this week off. My 5k PR is 14:53 and my goal race is mid May. Could I run 14:45 by then? I will be running ~60 mpw
