Why hasn't Sparks be announced yet?
Any word on Eastern Michigan? Not sure if anyone has mentioned them.

Hasn't ASU been in a slump since Quintana stopped coaching the women? It's been a shocker seeing Arizona beat up on them the past few years. Talk about a role reversal.
AD seems to have dropped the ball again
I don't know if the positions have been filled, but in the past 3 weeks the head coach and one of the assistant coaches at New Orleans has left the program.
Hasn't the asu programs both sucked now for a few years.,..like 6???? Pretty sure coach q isn't any better than coach cole.

The ASU men have been doing better than the women the past 4 yrs. The women have been on a precipitous decline the past few yrs, after being a consistent National powerhouse for many yrs. Ryan Cole has been in place the past 3 yrs, and yet they've continued to slide and not move back up. Just stating the facts.
The uninformed masses. ASU Women have been improving. Both Coaches are good. The Men have literally been the first team out of NCAA XC 2 years in a row. They only put 1-2 scholarships in their Men's distance program. In fact, they are quite good for the money invested.
ASU
Quintana is holding up the ASU men's distance program with smoke and mirrors. Maximizing every scholarship penny.
Cole just coached a national champion, Houlian. Look at the roster. It's cleaned up and should be at the meet next year.
Great coaches, humble guys.

I post every couple years on LR but had to ditto this. Quintana and Cole are great coaches and people who have consistently solid programs year in and year out. ASU women should have made national meet out of west last year, first team out and west is always tough.
I've heard bad things about Cole's recruiting as well. Very condescending.

I don't think he "left" IL to take a Dir of Ops job at ASU.
He was fired at IL and took Ops job (better than NO job).

I'd imagine only the hiree knows who got the job until they are announced.
Well, I interviewed for the Idaho position on Thursday and I think it's safe to say I didn't get the gig.
Would have been nice to hear back though one way or the other as it's a bit nerve wracking playing the waiting game.

It's official. Braden is the new Idaho Distance Coach! You heard it here first! Boom! Shaka laka!

Great interview with Steve Cram - says Jakob has no chance of WRs this year
