Ok. At least a half decent runner then.
I thus conclude that the home page is very nice.

No problem regards feedback, top job on the front page I think it is massively better and the improvement was much needed. Good work.
IE problem still exists, not sure what's going on there but hopefully you can figure it out.
FF is fine by the way. The guy was using NoScript so now a rule has been added in NoScript to allow letsrun.com it is functioning perfectly fine.
Confirmed this in IceWeasel 20 (essentially FF20) So I think you are golden certainly from versioning 20 through 26 on the Mozilla front. Sorry for any confusion.

Message board improvements are coming.
Thank god.
I do like the mobile friendly home page, I haven't had a chance to check it out on a PC. I will say it does need a header or title bar to let casual viewers know what site they are on. Also to nitpick a little I don't know if its the font or the text size but it looks dated.
Overall good job. Know if we had some reliable moderators for the boards....
*now not know.
Not sure if I can blame my iphone or if I hang around here too much.
Improvements? You mean you have eliminated the race-baiting a-holes from the message board?
Other than that, the site was good from a user perspective.
I can't run anything except IE at work :(
I used to have to put my self in "Napoleon Dynamite" mode each time I visited your site. The new site is very attractive and more relevant in the 21st century. Thanks for the upgrade.
I can't find any menu or link to athlete tagged pages, except the link you provided in the article.
In fact, where do you search for any tags? The search field in the upper right of the home page just yields hundreds of independent links or items. I'd rather if I search for "geoffrey mutai", that it would at least provide a search result to the "Tagged: Geoffrey Mutai" page or a link to the athlete page or something.
Also, are there plans for a mobile app versus just a mobile website?
How about "subscribing" to a forum thread so you can receive notifications of replies to your post or all posts, etc?

IE should be working now. There may be some formatting issues for the time being but the content should work. Any testers?
Looking good dude, tested in IE9 and can't see any problems browsing around now.
iPhone now shows two top bars separated by the search box wasting space.
IMHO it should be for the top bar: logo/home, link to all the features, link to message board, magnifying glass for search. Should all fit in one line.
Also, there is horizontal scrolling for iPhone. This is bad practise. For reading the quote of the day, I either have to zoom out or scroll left and right as I read it. Zooming out and the font becomes really small.

Confirmed that IE9 works. I have a virtual machine with IE6 and even that loads, although the menu is messed up. Tonight I'll see if I have VMs with IE7 and IE8 to test.
Erik, just be aware that with this font choice, it can either look slick or like unreadable garbage depending on what kind of hardware/software your viewers have. Turn off font smoothing or log into your page via remote desktop and you'll see what I mean. I think there are other fonts that handle these scenarios more gracefully.
I like that it hasn't changedin 10 years
we are a conservative bunch

We will optimize the top part over time, we've tried a number of configuration and like this. We wanted to get the site up and get feedback from the masses before spending a whole year trying to get things perfect from our perspective. So the improvements will keep coming.
I just tested the site on my wife's iPhone 5 and dont see horizontal bars. Can you hit refresh, take a screen shot, and submit it here?

I'll be 30 soon and I am pretty sure IE 6 came out when I was in high school.
Joking aside, we signed up for
http://browserstack.comso we can work on getting things nice on the 8 million devices and browsers 5 LRCers each use.

Might?
I know i can't break 20. Probably not 21 but am pretty confident 22 assuming my calf doesn't blow up. That's assuming the baltmore orioles 5ks 2 mile mark was accurate as i ran through there in 13 flat but had to stop this summer.
I don't care what you do with the rest of the site, just leave the message boards alone!
