I watched the last hour. What you say is true, but there was really a lot of product placement during the coverage. But the commentators were really awful, the constantly contradicted each other. For the women finish the time displayed on the screen was false (by two minutes) and even the guys who had written the live updates were fooled by that.
I found it kind of funny that the female winner had what I think was the 3rd best running performance overall (yes, including men)
But didn't you love it when Welch had his pro Pose Method ideas shot down. That was sweet.
Top 30 men at halfway.

Again, Tadese should have run with ritz as he's only 7 seconds up. It's a shame if he bombs this race as well. HE should try to go to a 2:07 type race and win that instead of trying to run 2:03.

Ritz has two guys to catch a bit soon--Tadesse and Belete. After that . . . no man's land. It will take some onions to keep the pace up for several miles before a leader or two drops off.

hartmann is gone at halfway, too bad for ritz who's now stuck with just one kenyan, reuben limaa. he's not gonna hold on for long, 60:53 half guy, 28:xx on roads
Teg 1:05:14 at the 1/2
1:01 52 for leaders
one pacer left and it's not even 25 km

Hopefully Tadese rallies and runs with Ritz. Would be great to see them work back up together

Guess who's getting paid you or Tim.
Snafus are bound to happy over the course of marathon coverage; "lining up like little Indians", "women less capable" than men at water stations...what's next? NY pizza better than Chicago style?
What's going to happen when Ritz catches and passes Tadese?
2:22:30 pace for women, 8 in lead pack
Up 2 from 19th...

don't discount his theory to quickly, the help of gravity might be the key to success ;)
Weather chic came on and said win was 8 mph.
I went to weather.com at 8:25 am and they were reporting wind of NW 3mph. Temp 53 degrees.
problem brewing for ritz - he'll benefit from the even pace but he might be stuck in no where land for several Km.
probably he'll want to catch up to the guy in front of him, draft a few km, then repeat picking off guys all the way.
in any event ritz knows how to grind by himself, it is harder though.
The Kenyan on the right really looks like he is straining. Not sure who he is

1:11:45 at halfway for employee 1.1. Again, if he beats my pr, he's fired so if you need a job, please email.
