Throw Joanie off the motorcycle and put Deena on there
Tadese DROPPING OFF WTF??
47:10 at 10 miles
tadesse is off the back, he shouldve stuck with the white folks
I'ts electric out there, I TELL YOU IT'S ELECTRIC!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
If there was ever a 10k specialist that I thought could make the jump to the marathon it was Tadese. Not sure why he struggles so much. Maybe it is his efficiency as Tony just alluded to.
Deena did a good job.
Was Tadese dropped or maybe he's thinking the pace is getting ridiculous and just backed off a bit.
Yesterday I watched the streaming coverage of the Ironman Triathlon--they broadcast for over 8 hours, and showed the real race for 98% of the time. In 8 hours, they had less "human interest" crap than Chicago has had already

Top 30 at 15k.
44:00 flat is 2:03:46 pace.
Riz has slowed down to 2:06:04 pace.
Teg is on 2:10:53 pace.
If i was an agent of many of those Kenyans, I would have told them, "Hey run with Ritz for the first half and I bet you're top 5." Of course a top 5 probably isn't want they are looking for.

You're really going to complain about a few minutes of "human interest?" Get a grip, jesus.

If was Tadese. I would have run with Ritz. I mean you've never hit a marathon so why try for the WR?
Alistair Cragg is also pacing Teg

We'll see where he is when the lead pack starts dropping like flys.

He's on 2:23:41 pace. He ran the first 5k slower which is what JK wanted. I forgot what he said he was shooting for. I think 2:24 as I remember saying hopefully you beat most of the women.
He's fired if he beats my 2:23:07 pb.
Is that my pb or 2:23:13.
Man this is getting good. Group dynamics are going to blow this lead pack up early. We should get a great death march the last 5k.
For the TV broadcast, it will be human interest to the hilt, the stream was very good yesterday.
at 20k ritz still on 2:06 pace
Great interview with Steve Cram - says Jakob has no chance of WRs this year

Guys between age of 45 and 55 do you think about death or does it seem far away
