Every morning when I wake up, I don't feel very rested and it feels like my heart is racing. I usually wake up an hour or two before my alarm and then I'll be in and out of sleep until it finally goes off. I also always feel dehydrated in the morning no matter how much water I drink the day before. I start to feel pretty good until right after lunch, when it feels like my heart is pounding really hard again (heart palpitations?). My runs are usually pretty normal, though it seems my heart rate might be a little elevated. I also get the pounding heart sensation when I lie down to go to bed.
I have just started doing hard workouts in the past week. This has been happening for at least a month. My running in the last few months has been mostly easy mileage of 60-75 mpw.
Any thoughts or recommendations?
