What do the scientists or just coaches think
What gives the biggest benefits or are they equal
20 minutes at 80% VO2maxIntensity
30 minutes at 75% VO2maxIntensity
8'00" 3000 meter runner:
20 minutes at 3.20 per kilometer
30 minutes at 3.35 per kilometer
My friends say overall the latter is the best because you use more % fat. I say it doesn't matter since the duration of A is shorter so i assume the recovery will be about the same.
What about the speedy temporun
20 minutes at 90% VO2maxIntensity
30 minutes at 85% VO2maxIntensity
the first would hurt a lot but i think the effects will be much much greater. For the 8' 3000 meter runner
20 minutes at 2.58 per kilometer
30 minutes at 3.08 per kilometer
